The new Harriet/Sam pups born 7-7-10 are eating well and growing like weeds after a rain. Will have two male pups for sale from this litter.

Our pups are often spoken for before they appear on our website. Email
us for more information, or to be placed on our "call next litter" list. Please review our policies.

Our breeding GSPs are all OFA certified and DNA registered with
AKC. We do not line/inbreed our dogs. The females are bred no
closer than once a year. Our puppies are born right here in our
kitchen with Marti and me in attendance. Puppies are weighed
and the sex and markings are noted. We help mom clean the pups
and make sure that they nurse. The Vet docks tails and removes
dew claws between the first and third day. The puppies are given
a physical prior to the procedure.
Our
puppies live with us, and are acclimated to routine household
noises. Sweeper running on floors, our other dogs putting their
heads in the whelping box, being held and petted daily by family
and visitors is all a part of daily living. We start feeding
moistened puppy food between the second and third week. Dry food
is introduced about the fourth week to supplement the moistened
food. About the fifth week the puppies are starting to be weaned.
At 2, 3, 4 and 6 weeks the pups are wormed. At 6 weeks the pups
get their first shots and a physical examination by our Vet.
By the 8th week, GSP puppies are ready to go to their new homes.
A nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your choice
of a puppy. You will sign a contract that you will take your
puppy to your Vet within 7-10 working days. If your Vet finds
anything wrong with the puppy, you return the puppy to us. We
will refund your purchase price, including deposit, less any
incurred Vet fees.

These
pups think they're just having fun, but they are also
learning body awareness, agility, and confidence
when confronted with new objects and obstacles in their
environment.

Hunting instinct starts early in our lines. Our pups
are exposed to birds and show their natural abilities
long before formal
training
begins.
