German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America - The GSPCA is the official representative of the German Shorthaired Pointer to the American Kennel Club. this non-profit organization is dedicated to encouraging and promoting the breeding of purebred German Shorthaired Pointers, and to doing all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection. As the Parent Club, the GSPCA is charged with doing all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trial, field trials and hunting tests.

Central Pennsylvania Dog Training Club - The Central Pennsylvania Dog Training Club was founded in 1993. It is composed of people interested in general and competetive obedience training for their dogs. Both pure-bred and mixed breed dogs participate in our classes, however, only pure-bred dogs can participate in sanctioned AKC obedience trials.

NAVHDA - The North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to foster, promote, and improve the versatile hunting dog breeds in North America; to conserve game by using well trained reliable hunting dogs before and after the shot; and to aid in the prevention of cruelty to animals by discouraging nonselective and uncontrolled breeding, which produces unwanted and uncared for dogs.

Dry Valley Farm - Birds, pheasant or chucker, are necessary to train your pup or tune up an older dog. Dave Showers will work with you and set the birds so you can work your pup to best advantage. My pup, Mr. Tibbs and his litter mate Sophie, owned by Sam Smith, were started at Dry Valley Farm. Both pups were pointing and retrieving by 6 months. You will have the Farm to yourself to concentrate on the pup without other hunters to worry about. Located in Winfield, PA.
